Eko Chocolate Show 2021 Opens Via Zoom On Saturday March 27
Ghana's Ohene Cocoa to showcase Ghanaian value addition enterprise

A virtual edition of Nigeria’s flagship Eko Chocolate Show is set to kick off Saturday 27th March to Sunday 28th March 2021 via online video conferencing platform Zoom.
The African cocoa and chocolate forum assembles chocolatiers, innovators, investors, equipment manufacturers and other stakeholders from across Africa, Europe, America and the Caribbean.
Participants will be making presentations on their businesses, showcase their products as well as engage attendees to Question and Answer sessions.
The Ohene Cocoa brand, one of Ghana’s leading artisanal cocoa processing enterprises will be making a strong showing bringing to the global audience snippets of indigenous innovation in the utilisation of cocoa.
Chief executive officer of Ohene Cocoa, Nana Aduna II, told Cocoa Post that as Ghana’s sole representative he was excited to be showcasing to the world inroads being made by the dozens of cocoa value addition artisans in the West African nation respected for its premium quality cocoa beans.
“My presentation and that of Taffissa, our colleague from Ivory Coast, slated for the afternoon of Sunday 28th March 2021 will highlight the challenges indigenous Cocoa Value Addition companies face in the highly regulated Cocoa industry in the two leading producer countries”, he stated.

Cocoa product brands from Egypt, Cameroun, Uganda and host nation Nigeria will also be making presentations over the 2-day virtual forum organised by the Eti-Oni Development Group chaired by HRM Oba Dokun Thompson.
The annual Eko Chocolate Show originally held in Nigeria’s cosmopolitan city, Lagos, was called off last year amidst the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic – COVID19 – on health and safety reasons.
