Gablin Donates To School For The Blind Ahead of Ghana Chocolate Week

Gablin Foods Limited, a chocolate factory in Accra, as part of its corporate social responsibility and in support of the Ghana Chocolate Week donated eight cartons of its 350g Instant Milk Chocolate products to the Akropong School for the Blind.

They were joined by the Corporate Affairs Manager of Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), Jane Yeboah, to make the presentation.

Chief Operating Officer of Gablin Foods, Teddy Armah, promised that the support would be continuous.

In addition, the deputy Corporate Affairs Manager of COCOBOD, Jane Yeboah highlighted the importance of introducing cocoa to students at an early age with its overwhelming nutritional benefits.

The Boys Head Prefect of the Akropong School for the Blind received the donation on behalf of the school.

He expressed their appreciation to the delegations for the generous gesture and also thanked their teachers for the effort towards their development.

Gablin Foods Limited also provided refreshments for the Health Week as part of the Cocoa Week celebrations.
